In 2022, Facebook launched a new feature for Groups called Community Chats. It’s a great tool to encourage members to have real-time discussions in smaller environments. The problem? Not many admins knew it existed or how to leverage it. 

Enter: me. I was hired by Media.Monks to write a series of articles on Community Chats for the Facebook Resource Center, targeted towards admins. Working with producers, product managers, content strategists, and developers, I wrote 14 articles that covered three content themes: 

1. What are Community Chats? 

2. Getting started with Community Chats 

3. Maintaining & advancing your chat

Each theme had roughly five articles, and the articles varied in difficulty level depending on the admin’s familiarity with the feature. Read all 14 articles here.
